Ooma VOIP Service Is Down Nationwide

Reports are trickling in our reporting service which Ooma, a popular VOIP service, is experiencing major network problems. Currently, telephone service Ooma seems disconnected from the country, and their website and support forums work sporadically or not at all.

Some users (especially in California) report that their service is back, but now it seems that the majority of subscribers are unable to make or receive phone calls. Another failure similar in scope to this one occurred in 2009, the service remains offline for nearly six hours.

Rumors began to swirl among the affected customers on the DSL Reports forums that Ooma is dying out, but we can confirm that this is not the case.
