New Smart Card to Replace NYC Subway System's MetroCard

&Nbsp; In going through the turnstiles by swiping their credit card in front of a sensor. People who have no credit cards will have the option of purchasing an ATM card that works the same way. The MTA board will be available for sale in vending machines or token booths as former MetroCards.

With the new system, passengers can buy single rides where each amount is deducted from their credit cards or they will be able to buy securities weekly, monthly, or unlimited in advance.

The $100 Not-Unlimited Metrocard Is Coming, and There's Nothing ...

This morning, it was widely reported that after the removal of some underground lines and several bus lines and, oh yeah, trying not stand a group of workers underground, the MTA is now planning to further increase rates. How?

Via NY1, the following plans that have been widely reported this morning, may or may not be announced next week that the MTA continues to try to reduce their deficits. If approved, the following will take effect on 1 January:

Your Metrocard would go up $ 11 to $ 100. Your Metrocard would cost $ 1 extra if you did not reload an old and buy a new one.
