SEATTLE - The producers of Oregon, Washington and Alaska have joined forces to meet the demand of Seattle for cut flowers, greens and ornamental plants.

The Seattle wholesale market producers Cooperative settle in a historic brewery, with 15 members today plan to bring in a wide variety of plants.

"It's still early, and only half of our producers have shown for the first day," co-op president Diane Szukovathy said. "But most people who came to buy.
