I've been plugging away at work this morning when I looked up to check the date to be included in a letter. When I saw July 20 E. watching the face I had a little panic attack. July 20 already? Summer is half over. I have a few weeks to play seven more before the children return to school.
You see, I have Wednesdays off and negotiated at the beginning of last school year. During the school year is when I participate in the classroom. But during the summer, our days playing, only the children and me.They are just beginning to come into play with mom and I cherish every bit of that precious time when I can. Too early teens and they will spend their time telling me how I'm cool and go.
