I keep two of these in a guitar case and the other in just the room I want to keep it moist. They are both very accurate and show the same readings side by side all the time. I've had more than a year and yet still no problems.
Note it does not show humidity below 20% if i were both broken until I realized that. So if you see a "-" of moisture, then your too dry.
